Fanuc P-155 paint

Explosion proof painting robot, CE certified. Equipped with the RJ3iB controller. Year 2006

The FANUC P-155 painting robot is designed for paint finishing and hazardous environment applications. The high-speed wrist and user-friendly setup make this reliable robot ideal for general industrial painting and coating, automotive painting and surface finishing, sealing, and hazardous spray applications. The FANUC P-155 can handle tracking or stationary systems.

The large work envelope and flexible payload option allows the robot to operate in a wide range of painting environments. A low arm mass and rigid design allows precise positioning and high speeds. The FANUC P 155 is FM approved to operate in the harshest painting environments, including Class 1 and 2, Division 1, Groups C, D, E, F, and G.

The maintenance required on the P-155 painting robot is minimized by brushless AC servo motors, external access to lubrication points and sealed bearings and drives. A hollow joint construction encloses all cable routing to eliminate snagging and improve cleanliness.

The FANUC P-155 robot is capable of a 1200mm per second linear painting speed.

The Fanuc Rj3iB uses advanced technology packaged in a proven, reliable and efficient controller design. Process capability and open architecture features provide intelligence to improve application and motion performance while simplifying system integration. The R-J3iB Controller incorporates the plug-in options concept, which allows flexibility for application specific configurations while maintaining a commonality for all users of the system.

The R-J3iB supports both analog and digital input and output modules while also allowing the addition of optional process I/O boards, as necessary.

The controller cabinet has an operator panel that provides easy, intuitive buttons with flashing LEDs to indicate operating and cycle conditions. This helps simplify daily operations, such as for simple powering up, running a program, and powering down.

Connected to the controller cabinet via a cable (internally connecting to the controllers Main CPU board), the teach pendant enables the performance of operations away from the controller. The teach pendant can teach program data, test and debug programs, and adjust variables with its 16-line by 40-character LCD display, menu-driven function keys, keypad keys, and status LEDs. Additionally, this pendant can monitor and control I/O to control EOATs and displaying current information on the status or position of the robot.
