Year 2004. Nd:YAG solid state laser, 4000W power.

TRUMPF cw solid-state lasers have laser powers up to 5 kilowatts and a beam quality of better than 25 mm·mrad. The stated power is guaranteed at the workpiece under worst conditions. Flexible laser light cables carry the beam to the workstations up to 100 meters distance. Integration into manufacturing lines in conjunction with robots is fast and easy. With the cw lasers the welding of highly reflective materials like aluminum and copper is possible.
